About The Event:

Because Acrylic is so easy to work with, it’s the best type of painting for beginners. Acrylic will stick your canvas without bleeding or running. Mistakes are simple to paint over or rework. Whether you are attempting to paint an abstract or with photo realism, acrylic allows you to create many different styles of art. In this workshop, we'll be using David Hockney's Garrowby Hill as inspiration, and you'll be able to leave with a piece of art to hang on your wall.

We will show you how to:

- Prepare your paint

- Choose your brush

- Mix colours

- Use different brush strokes

- Recreate your subject with realism
