ORIGINAL SIN & THE CODEINE CHRONICLES: Robert Farmer & Ron Loranger

Opening Reception: Thursday April 2nd, 7-11pm

Exhibition Dates: April 2 - 15, 2015

ROBERT FARMER was created in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1968. He attended Emily Carr briefly in 1996 but finished foundation year at Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, BC in 1999. Farmer moved to Toronto in 1999 and was a co-founder of Eastern Front Gallery from 2003-2006. Embraced as an entrepreneur rather than an artist , Farmer has a house painting business that prevents him from adhering to starving artist principles. Although he rarely gets to paint peoples' homes that nice shade of pink for their master bedroom, he freely abuses it in his fine art.

Currently residing in Leslieville, Farmer maintains a consistent practice in and out of the community.
