Nuit Rose 2019

NUIT ROSE is a free annual festival of queer art and performance, showcasing provocative, contemporary work by local and international artists. Over the past five years, NUIT ROSE has been a catalyst for community engagement, giving audiences opportunities to experience unique, transformational encounters with queer art across the city of Toronto.

We are excited to announce that NUIT ROSE will return for its spectacular 6th edition on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

Attendance at NUIT ROSE is FREE and open to all. NUIT ROSE attendees can expect transformational encounters with art that breaks barriers and challenges limitations. As always, NUIT ROSE activates Toronto neighbourhoods with provocative, cutting-edge contemporary art by diverse artists, presented at indoor and outdoor venues across the city. We showcase installations, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, and performances of music, poetry, theatre and dance by talented LGBTQ+ creators from Toronto and beyond.

To date, NUIT ROSE has presented 300+ artists and projects from Canada, the US, Mexico, Jamaica, Italy, Spain and Thailand. NUIT ROSE highlights new and diverse queer voices in the arts, offering  a space to emerging and established artists, and bringing these exceptional artists to the community.
