Nick Sweetman is an independent, multidisciplinary artist from Toronto. Though his materials are based in painting, his practice has expanded to include photography, mixed media, video, installation, and urban intervention, as well as commissioned murals and illustrations. He is interested in drawing attention to physical and conceptual sites of intersection between humans and their environment, and his work questions the divisions enacted by concepts like urban space, nature, and culture.
