Known as rock and rolls Prince of Darkness, the Australian native formed the Bad Seeds in 1983, in the wake of the breakup of influential goth-rockers Birthday Party, and they quickly achieved widespread acclaim, maintained and expanded upon over the course of 16 studio albums. The bands latest album, Skeleton Tree, met with universal critical praise: Pitchfork gave the album a 9.0, and the Guardian called it brilliant music on the verge of collapse. 2016s One More Time With Feeling, the documentary following, in both 2D and 3D, the tragic backdrop of the making of Skeleton Tree, received an A from Indiewire, who called it at once sobering in tone and intoxicating in style.
