NEWS NOW: Bob Stone Mayoral Campaign Launch

This Saturday, join Mayor Bob Stone at the Storefront Theatre for the official launch of his re-election campaign. Hilarious, raunchy, whacky, and cerebral, this is political satire at its best!

Inspired by Rob Ford, Bob Stone’s running to be re-elected Mayor of Capitol City (a fictional campaign that will run alongside Ford’s through 2014 as he attempts to retake power). But washed-up TV journalist, Brock Johnson, has other plans in mind. Along with the team at NEWS NOW, he’s determined to expose Mayor Stone for his crack-induced rants and consorting with prostitutes.

Help the NEWS NOW team by contributing to their indiegogo campaign < http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/news-now-the-brock-johnson-story> and by joining us Saturday for what promises to be a raucous evening. The event will include a stump speech by the mayor, followed by questions from the audience and a mix and mingle. Brock Johnson and other members of the NEWS NOW team will also be on hand to ask Mayor Stone some hard-hitting questions about a particularly incriminating video that’s surfaced…

Join us at the Storefront Theatre for an evening of whacky comedy and political satire. Starring Alan C. Peterson, Brock Johnson, Nahanni Johnstone, Kate Drummond and Benjamin Blais.
