Nashville's Cowboy Poets coming to Toronto June 30th
The Cowboy Poets are a half-Canadian, half-American countrified bluesy soulful rock trio, based out of Nashville. Two-thirds of the band used to be in the Capitol Records group Bonepony (one of Woody Harrelson’s favourite bands!), who had a #1 hit on XM Radio’s X Country channel chart, with the song “Feelin’ It,” in 2007. This new incarnation sees 3 incredible musicians tearing up stages all over North America all year long.
Foot-stomping, down-home, John Denver-meets-Aerosmith tunes would be a start for describing their sound, but it’s hard to describe how great their music makes you feel. You won’t be able to sit still while watching them play!
High-energy, gritty, genre-defying tunes are what they do best.
Showing off some new material, The Cowboy Poets are worth a trip to the Cameron on a Sunday evening!
