Sick Muse Art Projects has undertaken a new project. We are now planning our trip to Peru and Ecuador to bring Community Arts Projects and create opportunities for skill exchange with local artists in the areas we are visiting.

HAPPENING Community Arts & Cultural Exchange in Latin America Peru & Ecuador

We will have a Multicultural Evening; An opportuntiy to be among friends, and people who beleive that we all have the power to make the world a better place. This will also be a great opportunity to network with cultural workers and cultural leaders from different organizations, artists from different disciplines and different backgrouds and arts/culture dreamers and doers.

We envsion this night as a true representation of the multicultural City we are so happy to call home and a great opportunity to build community together. In making that night possible we will have:

Performers from Syria, Iran, Sudan, Nigeria, Mexico , Colombia, Canada and many more.

Silent auction that includes Artwork, Products and Services.

Food from different parts of the world.

Raffles and much more

Seven (7) arts facilitators working on Community Arts Projects in Toronto and from (Latin-American backgrounds) will travel to rural areas of Peru and Ecuador. For a period of 10 days (in each country) we will be delivering Community Art Projects directed at kids and youth. At the same time we will engage local artists, interested in community arts in a process of skills exchange.

We are also aiming to bring art supplies to the areas we are visiting during our trip.

We are aware that the two (2) countries we are planning to visit (several months from now) are experiencing great devastation due to natural disasters. We stand in solidarity.

We are aware that our trip requires taking all these elements into consideration and we will use all of our skills, talents and resources to give to the communities, including tools that allow them to pamper their creativity and reach their potential.
