The female-fronted MoonJunk debuted at Tranzac Club on Fri July 20 to an appreciative mixed-generation crowd. Em Jay leads the crew of experienced musicians with vintage keyboard sounds, fashion and energetic vocals and performance. The growing repertoire includes a far-out array of not only tributes to garage and surf bands from back in the day, but original songs in the same vein, all danceable and delivered with such joy that sets the audience in motion.

Café Embargo is a cozy vintage cafe/bar in Parkdale. The friends you will meet at Café Embargo come from all over the world, united by what we left behind and excited about where we’re going next.
