Get ready to get scared - maybe even to DEATH! Toronto's premier podcast network, Modern Superior, is pleased to present a live podcast event!

The fun begins with a Zombie and Voodoo themed pre-show, giving everyone a chance to get in, get settled, get booze, and get ready to get scared! This is a licensed event, and as always the incredible staff at the concession counter will be there to provide all your candy and popcorn needs.

We are thrilled and honoured to present Wes Craven's The Serpent and the Rainbow as our feature presentation. This rare 1988 non-fiction horror story is Craven's most mature and intriguing work. Based on the best selling Wade Davis book, wherein Davis recounted his experiences in Haiti investigating the story of Clairvius Narcisse, who was allegedly poisoned, buried alive, and revived with a herbal brew which produced what was called a zombie. Critic Jonathan Rosenbaum calls it "genuinely frightening" and says that "it's nice for a change to see some of the virtues of old-fashioned horror filmsmoody dream sequences, unsettling poetic images, and passages that suggest more than they show".

Following the show there will be a live podcast recording. Hosted by Matthew Price of hit show Let's Scare Matthew Price to Death and featuring guests from across the Modern Superior galaxy of stars.
