Started in 2013, the Megan Jutting Sextet is a 3-horn, 3-rhythm jazz & fusion group performing covers, arrangements and compositions. Arrangements are written by both Megan and the group, and repertoire features mainly standards from both genres. Influences include Herbie Hancock, Brecker Brothers, Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, Clifford Brown and John Coltrane, among others.
