Magicana, a Canadian forerunner in the advancement of magic as a performing art, proudly present Transgressive Magic; two extraordinary magic shows at Toronto's Luminato Festival on June 13, 14 & 15. Transgressive Magic presents the world premiere of the highly anticipated magic trick, Card Table Artifice, and the Canadian premiere of Bullet Catch.

The world premiere of Card Table Artifice is 112 years in the making and combines techniques employed by professional card cheats with an extravagant musical score. The trick is inspired by a book from 1902 entitled “The Expert at the Card Table” which has influenced generations of magicians and is performed by master sleight-of-hand artist David Ben.
