LUMINOUS 2026
LUMINOUS is an annual gathering and celebration for women in midlife, bringing together some of Toronto's most interesting women for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration.
Now in its second year, LUMINOUS is hosted by Kena Paranjape, founder of Supernova, a growing membership of more than 100 women who are approaching midlife with ambition, curiosity, and a desire to shape what comes next in their lives.
This year's theme is THE FUTURE LOOKS LIKE US.
At a time when so much of the cultural conversation around women and aging is focused on what changes or diminishes, LUMINOUS offers a different perspective. What if the years ahead hold some of our greatest possibilities? What do we know now, because of the lives we've lived, and what do we want to do with that knowledge?
The evening begins with two intimate conversations featuring:
Nina Taylor, astrologer, bringing a perspective on life's transitions, timing, and trusting our own authority.
Nancy Trites Botkin, founder of Think8Women and former television and film writer, director, and producer, exploring purpose and what's possible in the next chapter of life.
Kena Paranjape, founder of Supernova, sharing her own story of reinvention after a 20-year career in retail leadership, working with some of Canada's best-known brands and entrepreneurs.
At 7 PM, the evening shifts into a celebration with food from the chefs and artisans of Waterworks Food Hall, drinks, live music, and dancing.
