Three studios combined for a summer exhibition on the green line.

Each tracing from distinct backgrounds:

Jeremy Bailey (curator) – A new Canadian by way of Tamaki’s (Auckland, NZ) black sand beaches. Leading design and construction projects at Studio Polis Design.

J will be showing work from a furniture series rooted in the daily life of a Toronto semi. The original prototype for the kai mesa will be shown with two recent iterations and a new sleek prototype.

Kal Mansur – 10 Handicap on the golf course, former semi-pro short stop in Texas with a storied career in NYC before returning home to establish his practice in Toronto.

Known for his beautifully layered artwork in plexiglass and acrylic KM will be showing a new series, Strings Attached. He will also exhibit Emblems for the 2oth Century, a pivotal series exploring industry, oil and architecture.

Shaun Moore- Held a Canadian track & field record for over 25 years. Has spent the past three years as a part-time farmer in Hastings County.

A 9 year resident of Geary Ave. known in the design community for his custom furniture studio MADE Design, as a founder and former Board Chair of the DesignTO festival and as an independent design curator. His furniture practise spans over 20 years.

SM will be showing 3 pieces in steel, marble and reclaimed wood that speak a common language.

This is a two-week lens to capture the ideas we have been developing, formalizing the traces of our individual experiences.

An exhibition / interlocution with our neighbourhood and city.
