A hands-on workshop that will teach the basics of weaving on a 10x15” frame lap loom. During the workshop you’ll learn how to: warp your loom, weave stitches including plain weave, soumak, and rya knots, add fringe, finish off your piece before removing it from the loom and lastly weave in loose ends on the back. All materials are provided including a selection of yarn. You’ll go home with your own wall hanging plus the loom + tools are yours to keep for future weaving projects.
