LivingWorks safeTALK
LivingWorks safeTALK workshop emphasizes the importance of recognizing the signs,
effectively communicating with someone considering suicide, and directing
them to the appropriate help and resources.
Open to ages 16 and up, this workshop is ideal for:
- Natural helpers and advisors
- Educators and ministers
- Health practitioners
- Justice and law enforcement professionals
- Emergency workers
- Community volunteers
- Parents and caregivers
- Family and friends
Registration required for this free workshop. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a LivingWorks safeTALK certificate.
This program is in collaboration with Toronto Public Library and Gerstein Crisis Centre's safeTALK initiative.
