The project will highlight the graves and stories of Canadian former military personnel resting at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, creating a meaningful commemoration as the Mount Pleasant Group celebrates its bicentennial in 2026.

The activation will seek to engage the public—particularly younger generations who may not regularly participate in Remembrance activities—through an evocative, memorable experience accessible both in person and online.

Please note - you must comply with the operating hours of the cemetery. Please consult online to ensure the cemetery is open before planning your visit.

The central activation will ‘light up’ 400 military gravesites throughout the cemetery with small lights, illuminated nightly from dusk between November 4 and Remembrance Day.
