Lez Beach 2025

🌊 Lez Beach | Saturday, June 7 | 11 AM–Sunset

Calling ALL lesbians, dykes, sapphics, and queer femmes!

Last year, hundreds of us turned Hanlan’s into a space that was fully, unapologetically ours. We swam, laughed, danced, and built community—no creeps, no compromises, just us.

Now, we’re heading back to Hanlan’s Point, Canada’s oldest queer space and the site of the country’s very first Gay Pride in 1971, to reclaim the beach and start Pride Month the right way.

✨ First 400 people get a free sticker!

✨ Tag your sapphic crew on our Instagram post for a chance to win a free Hanlan’s beach towel!

✨ Come solo, with your friends, lovers, or ex-lovers—we don’t judge.

📍 Location & How to Get There:

Take the ferry from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal ($9.11 roundtrip) —or— hop on a water taxi like TDOT Water Taxi ($13 one-way) to Hanlan’s Point Ferry Docks.

Once you arrive, walk south for about 8 minutes, then veer right at the fork to reach the beach. Use the first entrance along the Rainbow Road (Trail 4), across from the Mermaid Café, turn left once you hit the beach!

🧺 What to Bring:

Water bottle, towel, sunglasses, hat, snacks, and your hottest dyke energy.

💧 Refill stations are marked on the map on our Instagram.

🚻 Washrooms are available near the Mermaid Café, right by the beach.

🌈 Hanlan’s is a clothing-optional beach—please be respectful of that and of the queer and Indigenous history of the space we’re gathering on.

🌧️ Rain in the forecast? Check our Instagram for updates or a potential rain date.
