Learn to DJ using Ableton Push - Part 1
Erik Laar from East End Toronto's Off Centre DJ School will lead a session where participants learn the basics of beat making and looping using Ableton Push, an instrument used by today's top DJ & Producers. Ableton is designed for live performances, composing, recording, arranging and mixing. We will review the main features of the software followed by a hands-on demo of the Ableton PUSH controller. Online registration is required for this class. This workshop will take place in the Green Screen Room, located in the Digital Innovation Hub at Toronto Reference Library. Space is limited. Based on fire code regulations, the Green Screen Production Studio can accommodate seating for 10 people. Space for this workshop is available for ticket holders on a first come, first served basis.
