The free event on Sept. 19 will bring fans together with Kyle Lowry in the heart of ‘Jurassic Park’

The Toronto Raptors will welcome fans to Maple Leaf Square on Saturday, Sept. 19th for Kyle’s Block Party presented by Tangerine, a free daytime event celebrating Kyle Lowry, his Raptors career and the special connection he built with Toronto fans.

The event follows Lowry’s retirement announcement earlier this summer, when he signed a ceremonial one-day contract to officially retire as a Toronto Raptor. The team also announced that Lowry’s No. 7 will be raised to the rafters at Scotiabank Arena on Jan. 10, 2027.

Dubbed “Jurassic Park” by the thousands of fans who gathered outside Scotiabank Arena to cheer on the Raptors, Maple Leaf Square will once again become a gathering place for the team and its fans. This time, Lowry will join them for a day built around the moments, memories and people that defined an era of Raptors basketball.

Beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET, Kyle’s Block Party will feature food and beverage stations, exclusive merchandise pop-ups, on-stage programming, giveaways, apparel customization and photobooth courtesy of presenting partner Tangerine, a DJ as well as special guest appearances.
