KEANE

Keane is an English alternative rock band formed in 1995 in Battle, East Sussex. The original lineup consisted of Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes, and Dominic Scott. They gained international success with their debut album "Hopes and Fears" in 2004, which won a Brit Award and became one of the UK's best-selling albums. Their subsequent albums, including "Under the Iron Sea," "Perfect Symmetry," and "Strangeland," also performed well, with several topping the UK charts. After a hiatus, they returned in 2019 with their fifth studio album, "Cause and Effect," which dealt with themes of personal struggle and divorce. Keane's music is characterized by its use of keyboards as the lead instrument, distinguishing them from typical rock bands, and they've sold over 13 million records worldwide. They've received acclaim from both critics and fans, with their albums often appearing on lists of the best British albums of all time.
