Kal Mansur: group of one
Lustre Contemporary presents 'group of one', Kal Mansur’s first solo exhibition in two years. Bringing together painting and sculpture, the exhibition traces shared ideas across different materials. Combining minimalist restraint with the effects of light and colour, Mansur creates works that reveal and obscure as the viewer moves. This reflects a concern informed by the immigrant experience: what it means to be seen and remain partly unknown. The title quietly references the Group of Seven, bringing distinct bodies of work together through one artist’s sensibility.
