K-Pop Night & Taste of Korea

Consulate General of the Republic of Korea invites you to K-pop night and Taste of Korea, The very highlight of the 2018 Korea Week!

As K-Pop has become a truly global phenomenon, the K-Pop Night: K-Pop Contest returns to Toronto bigger than ever with the aim of connecting local communities to Korea’s culture. The K-Pop Night invites K-Pop cover dance and song artists to share their talents and passion with the audience.

Taste of Korea celebrates the glorious multicultural makeup of the city of Toronto. Three prominent local chefs, Yumiko Kobayashi (Japanese), Maria Rozynska (Polish), Johl Whiteduck (Indigenous) add their own unique twist to the rich Korean culinary tradition. Using the season's finest ingredients, the three major supermarket chains, H-mart, Galleria, PAT, will bring to life some of the Korean classics. Curated by Korean-Canadian celebrity chef, Sang Kim, the free food sampling is guaranteed to entice palates from all backgrounds.
