When Joe Finley was diagnosed with cancer, it brought the best out in him. And that's because in 2006, while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, Joe completed his first sprint triathlon. The experience moved him so much that it inspired him to create Joe’s Team. Since the conception of Joe's Team, over $10,000,000 has been raised for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and in 2014, the Joe Finley Centre for Head and Neck Cancer Research (HNC) was established.

Joe passed away in October 2010, but taught all of us regular Joe's that we have it in us to do extraordinary things.
