St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will host former Alberta premier Jason Kenney on Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm, for a public discussion of Alberta’s future in Canada and the political, economic and constitutional stakes of its upcoming vote.

On October 19, Albertans will decide whether the province should remain in Canada or begin a legal process toward a future binding referendum on separation. Drawing on his experience in provincial and federal government, Kenney will offer his assessment of the issues surrounding the vote and what the outcome could mean for the country.

The evening will feature remarks from Kenney, a fireside chat and audience questions. Kenney served as Alberta’s premier from 2019 to 2022 and as a federal cabinet minister from 2008 to 2015.
