Kevin Hainey's DIY label Inyrdisk ( has been a bastion of avant-garde & experimental music in Toronto & beyond for the last 10 years. Inyrdisk celebrates it's final release, "Death Match", a 4 CD compliation featuring artists from the labels over 120 releases. Come celebrate the end of an era with 4 preformances, installations & a panel discussion on DIY labels. Details below:

Colin Fisher & Brandon Valdivia’s (Picastro. Lido Pimienta) genre spanning free improv. duo draw inspiration from psych, jazz, noise, world musics and their own brotherly connectivity, Colin & Brandon build familiar structures in an improvised setting. From gentle kalimba noodlings over impatient drums, they build into wells of space psych guitar noise only to deconstruct again into a whisper of bells and gongs. One of the most versatile & interesting acts in the city.

The solo workhorse of Andrew Zukerman. He melds home made electronics with mashed up tape loops. Zukerman's work draws of a plethora of sources, references & sounds while still maintaing continuity. His sense of humour & nostalgia play out as an inexplicable buoyancy in his compositions, often getting derailed into to some minimalist holding pattern before breaking free like some child finally free of his parents grasp. Meditative, chaotic, compelling music. For fans of Fine Young Cannibals.

Leslie Predy (ex-Induced Labour) brings the solo jams. Twisted vocals from another planet, like all the cats on the internet blended into a digital grinder. Dance beats bounce through layers of sickening fuzz squall. The sounds of your stomach turning, bubbling like a soup & eating itself. This is dark, foreboding music. Pretty much like being on that planet where Yoda lives, but with CHUDs loose everywhere!

Synth psych noodlings from Matthew "Doc" Dunn and Ayal Senior. Collaborating for years, this duo drips in & out of the cosmos, perfecting their own language. Come get lost in the oscillating waves.
