Description:

This workshop is facilitated by Hospice Palliative Care Ontario and the Alzheimer Society of Toronto staff. Front-line healthcare professionals will gain awareness, knowledge, skills, value and principles of Hospice Palliative Care in the context of how to address:

Care needs, issue, common fears and expectations of individuals living with dementia at the late and end-stages of the disease.

The needs and concerns of individuals involved in delivering care are also discussed.
