You’ve got the basics down…it’s time to expand your repertoire with some new techniques. This course is the next step towards sewing clothing, bags, lingerie, and pretty much everything else! You’ll make 3 rad projects:

Full Length Apron

Zippered Pouch

Tote Bag

And you’ll learn how to work with zippers, canvas, twill tape, cotton webbing, sew boxed corners, appliqué pockets, faux-mitred corners, double-fold hem, single-fold hem.

Cost/Materials: $400 +HST. Includes all materials, use of tools + machines

How Long: 4 classes @ 2 hrs each

Where: The Neon Needle Studio @ Bloor + Ossington (792 Ossington Ave, Garage)

Skill Level: You should have completed Intro to Sewing 1 AND/OR be comfortable with 1/2” seams, turn+ turn hems, zig zag finishing, edge-stitching, pivoting
