Lakeshore Arts is proud to stand behind the 2019 International Women’s Day theme #BalanceforBetter” - a call-to-action to better the gender-balance to create a better working world - with a special silkscreen printing workshop featuring artist, educator and activist Maureen Da Silva. Using pre-selected imagery that represent important historical moments in the fight for women’s rights, we invite the public to vote on social media for their top three image choices. The winning images will be available for the public to use in the silkscreen printing workshop on March 9th.
