Intermediate Illustrator
Tuesday April 29, 2014, 6:00-9:00pm
Centre for Social Innovation
215 Spadina Avenue, Toronto
Kick your Illustrator skills up a notch with this intermediate-level class, taught by Adobe Certified Expert Paul Kelly. Learn how to place and mask images (using a poster layout as an example), and have more control over your typography. Become comfortable with brushes, blends, symbols and effects, creating repeating patterns, and drawing in proper perspective. Finally, you'll learn how to take something you've designed and map it onto a 3D shape (like rendering a product label on a bottle, to show what it will look like in the real world).
Note: This workshop requires a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator. Camp Tech’s Illustrator for Beginners class (or equivalent experience) is a prerequisite. Laptops (either Mac or PC are fine) are mandatory for this class, and they must have Adobe Illustrator installed on them. You can get a free trial version of the software on Adobe’s website here: https://creative.adobe.com/products/illustrator
