inForum 2015 Conference

What happens when you amass a few hundred keen students, recent grads and young professionals, social activists, politicians, entrepreneurs and innovators? Magic.

How do you describe a group of people from all backgrounds and ideologies working together? Powerful.

That’s what’s in store at inForum 2015 — an exciting two-weekend event consisting of a speaker and networking conference, design jam and hackathon. And you’re invited!

The conference is taking place at Brennan Hall at University of Toronto on Saturday, May 23. We have amazing speakers lined up: Dave Meslin, community organizer; Liberal MP Chrystia Freeland; NDP MP Craig Scott; Conservative MP Michael Chong; Mike De Souza, investigative reporter at Thomson Reuters; and more! It's a great opportunity to meet passionate, likeminded people to share ideas. We’re also providing lunch and refreshments.

We believe in harnessing the tools of technology and the spirit of entrepreneurship to empower citizens for positive social change. That’s why inForum 2015 includes a design jam (May 24) and hackathon (May 30-31) — opportunities to meet people in intimate settings and collaborate on ways to engineer youth engagement. Because together, we are powerful.

FOCUS AREAS:

URBAN ISSUES | GRASSROOTS MOVEMENTS

YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN THE ECONOMY

CLIMATE CHANGE & THE ENVIRONMENT | DEMOCRATIC REFORM
