Homegrown Pizza in the Park

Join us on Friday, April 25th for some fresh pizza pies from the Christie Pits wood-burning oven. Five bucks gets you a fresh slice made by a Homegrown Park Ranger.

This year we want to add a bit of music to the mix. So all you talented musicians from the 'hood, please bring along your acoustic instrument of choice for a Homegrown Jam Session.

The Homegrown Pizza in the Park series is being hosted by the David Suzuki Foundation's Homegrown National Park Project. All proceeds will support fun green interventions, like canoe planters and butterfly gardens in parks, schools and unexpected places in the neighbourhood. More info: www.davidsuzuki.org/homegrown

This Homegrown Pizza in the Park is generously being sponsored by local realtor Alex Beauregard from Freeman Realty www.facebook.com/AlexBeauregardFreemanRealty. And our pals at Fresh City Farms will once again be providing the veggie toppings.

Stay tuned for more monthly Homegrown Pizza in the Park events each month until the end of the summer.
