High fashion and gown-inspired cakes continue to be an extremely popular trend in cake design, especially for wedding cakes. In the Haute Couture class students will learn how to take inspiration from couture gowns and use fondant as fabric to create ruffles, draping, pleating, rouching, sequins and other couture flourishes. Students will produce stunning and unique two-tiered cakes that would be a great addition to any portfolio!
