Happy Foods

Fringe Festival Play

Eli Wilder was 23 when he inherited Happy Foods, the struggling neighbourhood grocery store, and hasn’t had a dream since. Instead he has a cast of characters: a self-professed corporate sell out, an aspiring actor/movie star (he’s not sure yet), a sassy cashier with an answer for everything and a fellow nice enough to sell potential. Happy Foods is an exploration of happiness, aspirations and fulfillment, and the roles they play in their young lives.
