Halycon Days - duo exhibition Elizabeth Lennie and Amy Montgomery
Elizabeth Lennie and Amy Montgomery have there own unique take on the Halcyon Days of summer. The artists take delight in describing the simple joy, calm and peace a summer day provides. Their paintings capture children jumping off a raft into a lake or the tranquil diffusion of a sunset through the branches of a tree. Summer seems idyllic and too short, it is something we are often looking forward to or fondly looking back on.
