Search the grounds of Fort York for pumpkins that have been hidden by the soldiers of the War of 1812! After you've recovered your pumpkin, bring it to the Blue Barracks for decorating. Paint it, draw on it, even clothe it to look like a Fort York soldier. Make your pumpkin a shako, the official soldier's hat of the Battle of York. Take your pumpkin home with you where it can guard your door all throughout the spooky season. This event is open for children aged 3 - 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times.
