Hello friends and video game lovers!

We are presenting, on Halloween: An Evening of Nostalgia, Fusion, and Beer! Four amazing bands, beer, and of course, some wicked tunes, played by some awesome people. It is the debut performance of the Koopa Troop! A band dedicated to providing nostalgia, and performing solely the music from video games from beginning of all of our childhoods - the late 80's and 90's of course! And here to celebrate this debut performance are three more awesome bands and all friends of ours! The DC Sound Collective, Ten Meter Band, and Fat As Fuck will be there to perform, and celebrate with us! Cover for the night will be 8 Bones, and gets you all the fusion and nostalgia on Halloween you could possibly need, and more!!!

DC Sound Collective

DC Sound Collective was started by Devin Chubb in March 2012 as a vehicle to play his own original compositions outside of his schooling. A blend of several different musical influences, including jazz, fusion, rock and roll, and R&B;, DC Sound Collective melds together different sounds to create a unique musical experience. The music is at times sensitive and thoughtful, at others bold and unapologetic. It is this kind of diversity that give DCSC its sound. Simple, memorable melodies combine with funky grooves and beautiful colours to give the listener an unforgettable experience.

Making their Toronto debut is the Koopa Troop! Dedicated to preserving and maintaining the cohesiveness of nostalgia and nerdiness in the relationship between video game music, and jazz, the band debuts Halloween night with all-original arrangements from all of your favourite childhood video games, such as: Mario, Sonic 2, Tetris, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Banjo Kazooie, and more.
