Habibi and Friends is a stand-up comedy show where anything can happen.

Hosted by Toronto comedian Moe Ismail, the show features some of the best comedians in the country doing crowd work, riffing with the audience, and taking topic suggestions live on stage. Every show ends up going in a completely different direction depending on who’s in the room and what gets thrown at the comics.

The lineup will consist of surprise guest comedians—some of the best in the country—who drop in unannounced. We don’t release the lineup ahead of time, so the only way to find out who’s on the show is to be in the room.

It’s loose, unpredictable, and a lot more interactive than a typical stand-up show.

Along the way, comedians will also be trying out some of their newest material — jokes and ideas they’re working on before they make their way into bigger sets, tours, or specials.

Expect quick thinking, off-the-cuff moments, and the kind of comedy that only happens when comics are reacting in real time.
