Grada Kilomba: Illusions Vol. I and II
For this program, The Power Plant will screen two films by one of our Summer 2018 exhibiting artists, Grada Kilomba. Her film series ILLUSIONS retells notable Ancient Greek myths in contemporary context, all framed within the feminist, post-colonial paradigm of Kilomba's practice. On this night, we will present Volume I: Narcissus and Echo and Volume II: Oedipus.
