Roadrunner Records group Gojira have announced details of a massive North American headline tour which will get underway this fall. The nationwide trek will see Gojira joined by Tesseract and is set to kick-off September 21st at Silver Spring, Marylands The Fillmore. From there Gojira will traverse North America through October where the tour will eventually wrap up on October 23rd at New York Citys Terminal 5 tour itinerary below. Presale tickets and VIP packages for all dates will be available beginning Wednesday May 4th at 10:00 AM local time with general onsale beginning Friday, May 6th at 10:00AM local time. Earlier this month Gojira revealed details of their anticipated new LP MAGMA, which is heralded by the first single Stranded. Exclusive bundles are also available, which include a limited edition 52 page hardcover book with exclusive photos, sketches and artwork from the creation of MAGMA. Recorded at the bands own Silver Cord Studio in Ridgewood, Queens, MAGMA is produced, mixed and engineered by Gojira. It is the first of Gojiras albums to be recorded at Silver Cord, their new NYC headquarters which brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier began building out by hand in 2014 as detailed by Rolling Stone. MAGMA is already garnering Most Anticipated accolades from the press with Rolling Stone featuring it in their 25 Most Anticipated Metal Albums of 2016 round-up. Additionally, Decibel Magazine placed the new LP in their Top 20 Anticipated Albums Of 2016 while Consequence of Sound included it in their 20 Most Anticipated Metal Albums of 2016 preview.
