GhanaFest 2019

Ghanafest will present its annual showcase of the rich culture and heritage of the Ghanaian community in Earl Bales Park (North York). Ghanafest includes traditional food, language lessons, games, arts, culinary, dance, cultural fashion show, cultural performers, engaging local artists across Canada, international artists, and expose businesses to the community at large. The goal of Ghanafest is to bring Canada’s multicultural community together in showcasing the rich culture and heritage of the Ghanaian community which will include traditional food, cultural performers, performance from local artists within the GTA, and other showcases. This year promises to be bigger with lots of anticipation from the community because the year has been dubbed as the Year of Return whereby Ghana has been selected as the destination spot for the global community to celebrate 400 years in the abolishing of slavery. Ghanafest is annually celebrated and held around the world in notable cities such as Ghanadfest Chicago, New York, and London. The Ghanaian Festival of Arts & Culture has come to symbolize the unity of the community in appreciation of the beautiful culture of the Ghanaian people across Canada and comes an avenue to showcase businesses and talents in engaging as one interactive celebration. There will be a vendor market place and amazing presentations on the Harry Zukerman Amphitheatre plus a Kidz Zone and many more.
