Friends with Benefits

Toronto's vibrant music scene is nothing without the spaces that make it thrive. Spin Class Presents...Friends with Benefits: a one-afternoon-only benefit concert on a mission to help save Swan Dive, a beloved bar and local haunt located at 1631 Dundas St. West, now at risk of closing its doors.

The PWYC event taking place Saturday May 17 will feature live performances from some of the city’s most exciting local artists, headlined by Howlin' Circus with sets from LeBarons, Eleven Minutes Late, Johnny Vacation, Fiaz and the Wasted Chances, and starting at 4PM with Silver Reeds. Sponsored by Primal Note Studios, the event brings together Toronto’s creative community in support of one of its most cherished dive bars. In addition to the stacked lineup, there will be a raffle featuring merch and gift certificates generously donated by well-known local artists and businesses.

This isn’t just a concert. It’s a statement: that Toronto cares about preserving its cultural spaces and the communities that gather in them.

We’d love your support in spreading the word. If you’re looking to spotlight a truly grassroots event with heart, soul, and a great cause behind it, Friends with Benefits is it.
