FREE Screening: Anatomy of Violence - a film by Deepa Mehta

Working Women Community Centre presents a FREE special public screening of Anatomy of Violence, a film by Academy Award Nominated Director Deepa Mehta.

Anatomy of Violence mixes fiction and fact in an improvised exploration of the events leading up to and following the violent assault of a young woman on a bus in Delhi in 2012.

The film will be used as a segue for a panel discussion about violence prevention in Toronto to immediately follow the screening. Please note that the film contains material that may be disturbing to some viewers and is not suitable for children.

Opening remarks will be provided by Deepa Mehta and Canadian film producer David Hamilton. The panel discussion will be moderated by Debbie Douglas, Executive Director, OCASI and will include:
