Free Japanese Movie Screenings at the Bloor Cinema: Wood Job!

presented by The Japan Foundation, Toronto and the Consulate-General of Japan in Toronto

Our annual Japanese film screenings return to the Bloor Cinema in January 2016!

This time we’re bringing you four films over the course of three weeks:

-a spectacular samurai action/comedy

-a thoughtful coming-of-age drama set on a tiny island near Okinawa

-a forestry comedy from the director of Swing Girls, Happy Flight! and Robo-G

-an indie comedy/drama about an unforgettable friendship from the director of The Woodsman and the Rain

All of our screenings are in Japanese with English subtitles, and all of them are also FREE! No reservation is required; doors open 30 minutes before the start time
