Good afternoon

I have a story that may be of some interest or awareness for the people of Toronto, I am a hairstylist ,working at Francesca’s salon and spa located in the heart of Forest Hill village and has been a local staple , Wednesday March 1st they will be celebrating their 30th year in business ,and following their extremely successful 25th anniversary 5 years ago, a fundraiser was held with proceeds that went to Camh they raised $23,000!

They are going to continue to have another,  with all proceeds going to Jordana’s rainbow which is raising awareness and research on behalf of sick kids for dipg , a rare cancer affecting children , which Jordana’s mother started after losing her daughter to the terrible disease.

Allison , jordana’s mother grew up with her family visiting Francesca as their stylist over 30 years ago, so their history hit home for Francesca and is close to her heart, that is the reason for her choosing this charity.

Our goal is to raise awareness on this matter and reach as many people as possible and we’d love to have the opportunity to share our story being a long standing business, surviving the pandemic and raising awareness for this cause with the city of Toronto ,given the opportunity .
