Food Truck'N Friday

It’s starting to look a lot like summer, thanks to Food Truck’N Friday! The premier food truck event is once again hitting the road for its second Summer Series installment this Friday, June 2 at Humberview Chevrolet (3200 Bloor St. W.)

Participating trucks include:

• Feed The 6

• Bestia

• Gotham Grill

• The Arepa Republic

• Wickedly Sinful

• Sushiburri

• Gangster Cheese

• Dolcella Gelato

• Alijandro’s Kitchen

Making their Food Truck’N Friday debut is Alijandro’s Kitchen, known for their innovative falafel waffles and Mexican-Mediterranean dishes.

Also in attendance are new community partners North Face Rally, who’ll be bringing with them a fleet of supercars, Just Dip Itt, authorized installer for Autoflex Coating and Plasti dip, as well as Your Subject My Focus, professional photographers who’ll be on site to capture the event’s best moments.

Returning as community partners are Cake Star, specialists in custom desserts and cakes, Little Havana Café, makers of authentic Cuban coffee and treats, and Sapsucker, who’ll be offering its natural tree-filtered water on site.

And what would good dining be without good music? DJ Machado will be on site to spin tracks throughout the night.

“Our Summer Series calendar is shaping up to be a summer staple in the city, with amazing food, great music, and fun, family-friendly vibe,” said Jason Bellissimo, Director of Sales & Marketing of J.B. Innovative Solutions Inc., and founder of Food Truck’N Friday. “We’re so lucky to have partnered with Humberview Chevrolet to host the event – it’s the perfect location to unofficially kickstart the start of summer!”

Food Truck’N Friday runs bi-weekly, rain or shine, in the parking lot at Bloor Street West and Resurrection Road (just west of Islington subway station). The event is free to attend and runs from 4:30-10:00 p.m. Plenty of free parking is available.
