First-Aid Certification Course

This is a comprehensive, one day (8 hour) class that meets Ontario Health & Safety (OHS) legislative requirements, and is recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB). As a certified First Aider, you will be prepared with the latest First Aid knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace and in the public.

This is a hands-on course that will prepare you to safely respond to sudden emergency situations with First Aid and CPR. You will need to attend the entirety of the class, demonstrate your training (practical examination), as well as complete a written test (minimum 75% passing mark). You will learn to recognize and respond to heart-related emergencies, be certified to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and safely tend to injuries. You will also receive a Red Cross First Aid & CPR Manual and certificate.
