With just over a month to go, we are gathering for our final community planning workshop to get ready for the FIFA World Cup.

Summer is nearly here, which means the FIFA World Cup is just around the corner. This is our FINAL community workshop before diving head-first into programming and collaborating.

Throughout the winter and spring, we have conducted 3 community workshops intending to build capacity towards the summer. We now have over a dozen activations prepared, throughout the city geared towards welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors this summer.

We invite any and all working in bars, restaurants, music venues, hotels, museums and anyone connected with the tourism and hospitality sectors. We invite business owners, football fans and community builders, bureaucrats and BIAs, not-for-profits and galleries. Come one, come all, and lets ensure that all our boats rise with the same tide. As my ancestors said: Tuko Pamoja. We are stronger together.

Our aim with this workshop is to create shared resources to showcase and promote our projects and cultural events.
