Come join us for an evening of next generation singer-songwriter talent at the Rivoli in downtown Toronto. Don't miss this opportunity to witness intimate performances from three rising female Alt Pop R&B Electronic artists: because nothing equals our hearts being touched directly by a singer and their song (under 19 with adult chaperone).

Semiah, Izzy al Jabri & Makenna Skye will each perform a 20 min set of diverse original music: solo acoustic, with accompaniment and their slef produced backing tracks. Please see below for set times + more on the artists.

8:30PM - SEMIAH

Semiah captivates audiences with her effervescent personality, generous stage presence and hooky alt-pop songs featuring a signature vocal style influenced by her Indigenous heritage. Her debut EP After The Night Ends features songs that explore love, grief and cultural responsibility; 'Celestial Bodies' single now at over 11,000 streams. Semiah received a standing ovation & encore for her debut performance at B.C.'s Fusion Festival 2023 garnering invite to return summer 2024 for a main stage feature. Other performance highlights include headline feature at 2024 OLI Outside Looking In, Tkaronto Music Festival, and ImagiNATIVE film festival. Upcoming features include International Indigenous Music Summit June 2024, Sākihiwē Festival Winnipeg June 30, and Canada Day Surrey B.C. The new single & video for 'Withdrawals' releasing July 20. 7:45PM - IZZY AL JABRI

Izzy is a teen alt-pop sensation who can arrest a room with her moving vocals, sincerity in songwriting and natural stage presence. There's good reason why her breath-taking performance of the single 'Searching' was chosen to open the prestigious Honey Jam 2023 showcase - same event that launched careers of icons Nelly Furtado & Melanie Fiona. Izzy has released 5 singles to date, most recently the haunting track 'Pink Hoodie' with an accompanying video coming soon and a debut EP release planned for the fall. Following the impactful environmental statement in the single & self-directed video for song, 'This Is Our Future' Izzy was invited to be guest speaker on the climate crisis at WE conference and in Toronto area schools. Outside of music, Izzy is a competitive volleyball enthusiast and a fan of bad Dad jokes.

7PM - MAKENNA

Makenna is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter who brings a fresh twist to blending rhythmic poetry with melodic hooks. She engineers & self-produces sonic landscapes and beats for her songs, often utilizing influences of UK drill and Hiphop. Makenna's lyrics tell honest stories of everyday struggles and ask thought-provoking philosophical questions about the world around us. And she's not just a creator of music, but also of stunning E-skate boards featuring unique custom designs that have captivated the Toronto East end boarding community. Follow @kennatopia
