As a writer, you’re often uncertain about the outcome of your work. Seize control by producing your own chapbook, broadside or pamphlet in this micropress workshop. The certainty that your creative work will ultimately be issued as a physical object can have a stimulating and spurring effect on the writing process. Open to all styles and genres, this workshop explores the boundless possibilities for presenting and self-publishing your creative writing.

Guest speakers, including Shane Neilson, poet, critic and editor at Frog Hollow Press, will provide opportunities of learning and networking with local writers, editors and independent publishers. Emily Cook of Paperhouse Studios, located in Artscape Youngplace, will be giving a papermaking demonstration and teaching binding and sewing techniques.
